House bed with extra bed Melvin

A fantastic house bed with a practical extra bed underneath that you can easily pull out when needed. Perfect if a friend wants to sleep over, or when the siblings want to share room.

The bed is made of solid pine, which makes it stable and substantial.

We promise that the bed will be your child's favorite, and not just for sleeping in as it can with simple means become a really cozy corner. Many decorate the bed with canopies, garlands or lights, possibiities are endless.

Optional:

• Color: choose between natural (lacquered), white, grey and anthracite. All natural beds are treated with water-based varnish. Leave a comment at checkout if you want a natural colored bed that is untreated.
• Storage box: choose with or without.

Info:

• 100% FSC-certified pine wood, which ensures that the timber comes from responsible forestry.
• The barrier is removable and can be mounted on any side. 
• Height of barrier when mounted: 28,5 cm. Space between slats 4,5 cm.
• The barrier is about 1/2 of the length of the bed.  
• Total height of the bed: 158 cm.
• Height of the storage box: 18 cm
• Maximum weight: 100 kg per bed.

Size:

• Available in different bed sizes. The dimensions on the left in the list refer to bed dimensions. The dimensions in parentheses (width & length) refer to the total size of the bed.
• Extra bed dimensions 10 cm shorter than the length of the bed. Example: For house bed 80x160 = extra bed 80x150.

Mattress not included, but available to buy in our large selection! We recommend a foam mattress with thickness of 10-12 cm for the upper bed and max 8 cm for the extra bed. If the mattress for the extra bed is thicker than 8 cm, the extra bed cannot be pulled out.

The beds are manufactured according to the standard EN-747-1: 2012 + A1: 2015 in our factory in Europe which has the highest safety standards for the production of children’s beds and controls every step from the time the timber enters the factory until a finished product leaves. The beds are painted three times with organic, environmentally friendly and water-based paint that complies with the standard EN 71-3:2019.

This bed is made and adapted for children. The bed is delivered unassembled and should be assembled in the room in which it is intended to be used.
