House bed Astrid with storage box / extra bed

This is the Astrid children’s bed which is made in a classic style that we know is very popular in many children's rooms. We are proud to be able to offer this nice kids bed with roof and chimney.

We promise that the bed will be your child's favorite, and not just for sleeping in as it can with simple means become a really cozy corner. Many decorate the bed with canopies, garlands or lights, only your creativity stops.

Mattress is not included. We recommend a foam mattress with thickness of 10-12 cm for the upper bed and max 9 cm for the extra bed. If the mattress for the extra bed is thicker than 9 cm, the extra bed cannot be pulled out.

We have a large selection of different types of mattresses that fit this house bed, do not hesitate to ask us if you are unsure.

Details:

• Storage box and slatted base are included.
• If the extra bed function is not selected, 1 larger storage box is included for beds up to 160 cm and 2 storage boxes for beds larger than 160 cm.
• If the extra bed function is selected, 1 box is always included together with an extra slatted base, regardless of the size of the bed.
• The total height of the bed depends on the length of the selected bed (see details below)
• The legs of the bed are made of 45/65 mm elements
• The bed frame is made of 90/20 mm elements
• To get the total dimension of the bed add 9 cm in length and width to the mattress dimensions.
• The total height of the guard rail is about 30 cm. The gap between the slats is about 5 cm.
• Max weight. 100kg

• Storage box with sleeping function (extra slatted base included) (Mattress dimensions for extra bed must be 10 cm shorter than the length of the bed and have a maximum thickness of 9 cm. For bed Astrid 80x160 = 1 mattress 80x150)

Material:

• This fantastic bed is completely handmade with great passion, made of high quality glulam.
• Glulam has the advantage, compared to solid wood, that it doesn’t crack and that there are no twigs that affect the appearance.
