Happy lights are created by Ruth and Hendrik. Ruth, a veterinarian by profession and a true animal lover who loves to travel, photograph and decorate. Hendrik is the architect, with a passion for all living things and of course for traveling and exploring new cultures.

The colored light balls are handmade by a small manufacturer in Thailand. The light balls are typically Thai and behind the work of creating the nice balls are years of training. All those who manufacture these are local workers who live near the small factory. They receive fair and adjusted wages and can thereby support their families.
As soon as the balls are made, they are shipped in a container to Happy Lights, which then distributes them to their retailers.
